Dive sites
All our dive sites are very varied showing the unique volcanic formations of the Islands and most are suitable for any level of diver. Visibility ranges from 15m to 30m year round with a water temperature between 18°C to 25°C throughout the year.
Our itinerary for any given day is determined firstly by sea and weather conditions and secondly by the divers in the group. We consider both their certification / experience level and what they have seen already. We always try to provide a range of sites for each diver to experience, and the more notice we have of your dates, the better we're able to custom-design a dive itinerary to suit you.

A fishy delight with an exploratory element.
Lava boulders and overhangs give this dive site plenty of nooks and crannies for morays, octopus, cuttlefish and all our usual suspects.
Topped off with a shoal of Roncadores and possible sightings of Round, Atlantic and Eagle rays it never leaves a diver disappointed.

El Puertito
Standard: All levels
Max Depth: 12m
Distance: Boat - 20 minutes

A very interesting and popular dive for all levels of diver.
In collaboration with La Laguna University a local dive centre undertook a project to remove the invasive lime sea urchin (Diadema antillarum) in an attempt to restore the area to its natural state. Several years on and the return of algae on the rocks as well as the number of grazing fish is evident.
We can be almost certain to encounter some of the critically endangered Green turtles (Chelonia mydas) that inhabit the area and graze on the sea-grass here too. Fantastic for photographers as these graceful creatures are extremely friendly.

Palm Mar Wall
Standard: All levels
Max Depth: 25m
Distance: Boat - 5 minutes
.jpg) |
This large rock face always provides plenty to see. Situated just outside of Los Cristianos the rocky features are mirrored beneath the surface.
Home to many fish species including a rather large shoal of Roncadores you will also find lots of anemones and sea worms nestling between the rocks. As the rocky structure meets with the flat sandy sea bed we often see stingrays floating by and Angel sharks like to hang out amidst the carpet of garden eels.
This dive can make for a great drift too!

Palm Mar Cave
Standard: Advanced and above
Max Depth: 35m
Distance: Boat - 5 minutes
.jpg) |
From an anchorage in 16m we first make our way down a wall where we will find many varieties of Morays hiding in the cracks. At the end of the wall we make our way to some magnificent pinnacle structures that you can weave your way around and pay your respect to the Virgin del Carmen statue that was laid in 32m for protection of both divers and fishermen of the island.
You can look out into the abyss and marvel at the garden eel carpet. As you make your way into 26 meters you will be at the cave entrance. However this is not to be penetrated due to it leading into a maze. A small cross at the entrance is a reminder of those who went in and never came back out. The mouth of the cave has enough to keep you occupied as it is home to several tiger and brown morays.
A deep divers favourite!

This wreck was a WW2 German minesweeper and arrived in Tenerife in the 70's. It was later used as a Dolphin watching vessel before being scuttled in 2005 for the enjoyment of divers and now lies almost upright on a sandy bed at 30m.
We can encounter Jacks, Rays, Grouper and perhaps Angel shark as we make our way around the wreck and up to the Crow's Nest before making our safety stop.
An advanced dive for it's depth and some strong currents.

One of our furthest dive sites but frequently requested El Acuario has been nicknamed sting-ray station.
A small fishing boat wreck has created a home for moray eels and a selection of fish which are numerous. The main attraction of course here are the sting rays that frequent this site due to the heavy feeding program that was introduced to this area.
