Or opt for Abu Dabab where you have the chance to spot dugong - a great day out for all the family as this is an easy dive and great for snorkellers too. Marsa Alam has several dugong in the area and the bays here are home to excellent corals, large turtles and guitar rays; the islands are a highlight of the area.
