Discover Scuba Diving
Discover Scuba Diving1/2 day 83 USD If you want to see the beauty of what diving on a tropical reef has to offer without immediately committing to a certification course, then enroll in Utila Dive Centre's PADI Discover Scuba Diving program. This experience can be conducted in half a day and requires no previous diving experiences. Under the direct supervision of one of our experienced PADI Instructors, you will discover how easy it is scuba in a pool/pool-like environment. Once you have mastered the basics we'll take you on an underwater tour of one of Utila's beautiful tropical reefs, to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet, where turtles, eagle rays and amazing coral formations await your visit. This program also gives you credit towards the PADI Scuba Diver/Open Water Diver certification.  The price listed above includes all materials and taxes. Scuba Diver Course

Once you're amazed and addicted by the beauty of the underwater world you're only 1 ½ days from continuing to a full PADI Open Water Diver certification. PADI Open Water Diver
PADI Open Water Diver4.5 Days 289 USD The Open Water Diver certification is the 1st complete PADI certification you can earn and the most chosen course for beginners in Honduras, and worldwide. This license is the most recognized in the dive industry and will allow you to dive anywhere in the world, independent of professional supervision, to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet. Utila Dive Centre's instructors have the highest ratings and the most experience in the Caribbean. The reef system around the Utila is the perfect environment for you to learn scuba diving.
The price listed above includes all books, materials, taxes, and 4 nights in our Shared Bathroom Dorms whcih are very popular with backpackers due to the freshwater pool right by the rooms. Please visit our Hotel section if you would like to bundle this course with another room type at the Mango Inn. We are currently offering 2 additional dives with this package, and there are no other hidden charges for the course. We also have a great sundeck, complimentary kayak useage, and amazing snorkeling off our dock and weekly BBQ parties. The PADI Adventure Diver course will be your first encounter with a few specialized dive activities. You can choose from many options including Deep, Wreck, Night, Navigation, Search and Recovery, Naturtalist, Fish Identification, and Peak Performance Bouyancy. During the 3 dive course, you will be lead by one of our instructors which have lots of experience in each specialty area. This course immediately links from the PADI Open Water Diver certification. Once you have earned the Open Water Diver certification you can now immediately discover the differing aquatic environments that diving has to offer.
