The north routesOnce left the moorings and taken off from Capo Galera (to the north direction) we will meet the massive Punta Giglio, which is the entrance (mouth ) of Porto Conte, an extensive natural harbour in the past already used by Roman ships. The submerged caves of `Falco`(hawk), `dei fantasmi` (Ghosts), `delle stalattiti`(Stalactites), `dei Cervi` (Deer) and `del Pozzo`(well) characterize this area. Very interesting on the bottom is the presence of traces of a sinked galleon (16th century), including several tiles and a cannon. We will continue towards to the “Argentiera”, a Cape in the middle of the sea that hides a creek with in the middle a beautiful beach, that in the past was used to load silver minerals extracted from a mine on the spot. Further north we find the island “ Asinara “, a natural park to be discovered, underwater as well as on the surface. The view you have joining the famous Pelosa beach near Stintino is unforgettable.
